My journey did not begin in transportation, nor did I originally set out to build a mobility service for seniors. I began my career as a nail technician, working hands-on every day with clients from all walks of life. Over time, that path led me to create TapLook, a mobile beauty brand dedicated specifically to serving seniors. What started as a personal care service gradually became something much deeper, a window into the everyday realities of aging.
Through TapLook, I spent countless hours visiting older adults in their homes, senior residences, hospitals, and care facilities. These were not rushed appointments. They were moments of connection, conversation, and trust. Seniors shared their stories with me, their lives, their families, their worries, and their quiet frustrations. It was during these moments that I began to understand challenges that had nothing to do with beauty, but everything to do with mobility, independence, and dignity.

Many of the seniors I served struggled simply to leave their homes. Activities that most people take for granted, going to a medical appointment, grocery shopping, attending a community event, or visiting friends, were often stressful or, at times, impossible. Their adult children frequently lived far away, balancing their own work and family responsibilities. Asking for help was not always easy, and relying on others sometimes made seniors feel like a burden rather than individuals with full, meaningful lives.
Although ride-sharing apps such as Uber or Lyft may appear convenient, I quickly realized they were not a real solution for most seniors. Many older adults are not comfortable using smartphones or navigating complex apps. Even when their children booked rides on their behalf, seniors often felt anxious. They worried about who would arrive, whether the driver would be patient, whether they would be helped in and out of the vehicle, or whether they would be rushed. Transportation, instead of offering freedom, became another source of stress.
Witnessing these challenges firsthand left a lasting impact on me. I realized that mobility was one of the biggest barriers preventing seniors from living independently and staying connected to their communities. Transportation was not simply about getting from one place to another. It represented dignity, confidence, safety, and peace of mind, for seniors themselves and for the families who care deeply about them.
That realization pushed me to act. I founded RideSenior with a clear and focused mission: to help older adults move freely and safely, without fear, confusion, or unnecessary stress, and to give families confidence that their loved ones are always in caring hands. RideSenior was first launched in Edmonton, where every ride reinforced my belief that this service was not only needed, but essential.
Each time we helped a senior attend a medical appointment, go shopping, visit a loved one, or simply get out of the house, I felt a deep sense of fulfillment. Seniors felt calmer, more confident, and more respected. Families felt relieved knowing their parents or loved ones were safe. For me, every ride represented something more than transportation, it was proof that we were creating real value where society needed it most.
As trust in RideSenior grew, the vision expanded beyond United States. Today, RideSenior has officially launched and expanded its services across the United States, bringing senior-focused transportation to major cities including News York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Boston, Washington DC, and San Jose. With each new city, our commitment remains unchanged: to provide transportation designed specifically for seniors, delivered with compassion, professionalism, and respect.
Growth, however, has never been about expansion alone. It has always been about responsibility. Each new community we serve means more seniors relying on us for their safety and independence, and more families trusting us with what matters most. That responsibility guides every decision we make.
Together with a dedicated team and trusted partners, we work every day to improve and refine our services. We continuously raise standards, invest in training, improve systems, and listen closely to the needs of seniors and their families. Innovation, for us, is not about technology for its own sake, but about making services simpler, safer, and more human.
RideSenior exists to support seniors in living with independence, dignity, and confidence. It exists to reduce isolation, to make healthcare access easier, and to help older adults remain active members of their communities. Just as importantly, it exists to give families absolute peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are supported every step of the way.
This journey began by listening, grew through action, and continues with a promise: to always put seniors first, and to keep building a service rooted in care, trust, and respect.
