Drug & Alcohol Policy
RideSenior is committed to providing a safe, reliable, and respectful transportation service for riders, caregivers, partners, and the communities we serve across United States. RideSenior maintains a zero‑tolerance policy regarding the use of drugs or alcohol while using the RideSenior platform.
This policy applies at all times when a driver is logged into the RideSenior platform, including when:

Actively providing a scheduled or on‑demand ride

Logged in and available for trips, even if not currently transporting a passenger
Any use, possession, or impairment related to drugs or alcohol while operating on the RideSenior platform is strictly prohibited.

Reports may be submitted by riders, family members, caregivers, partner organizations, or members of the public.
When RideSenior receives a report
When RideSenior receives a report of reasonable suspicion that a driver may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol while using the RideSenior platform:

The driver’s access to the platform may be temporarily suspended while an investigation is conducted.

RideSenior will review all available information in accordance with Canadian federal and provincial laws, including applicable privacy requirements.

If the investigation confirms a violation of this policy, the driver may face permanent removal from the RideSenior platform.
All reports are handled promptly, confidentially, and fairly.
Regulatory and external reporting in United States
In addition to reporting directly to RideSenior, concerns related to transportation services may also be reported to the appropriate provincial or municipal authorities, depending on where the incident occurred.
